Im not sure if they still do but every year Norwich hosted a big tournament for under 14/15s
A lot of the top Irish schoolboy teams were invited as well as Dublin schoolboy selection
Norwich always had a scout or two in Dublin

Yeh I think I exaggerated with a lot but there been quite a few Irish & Scottish lads brought through/bought in their academy last few years.

No idea what you were watching.

I was watching our game.

Keane had a very poor game and wasn't suited to going one v one against him, so clearly, that probably helped Zaha stand out.

He was constantly spinning wide, dragging Keane out just enough to open up the space and leave the oaf floundering most of the time. He was also doing that thing that none of our players can do and that's dropping into the space between defence and midfield and charging with the ball.

Zaha created three chances, had three shots (1 on target), 73 touches (more than Dom (31) and Richarlison (38) combined, and more than James (68).

His three chances created were the joint-most in the game - along with Digne and Coleman. He made 39 passes in our half, more than any player on either side managed in the opposition's half (our best was James, with 30), and put in five crosses, all from open play (Digne put in 6, 4 from open play).

I think he had a pretty good game, probably helped by the freedom we afforded him - which hasn't been the case when we've played them usually. Think Eze was their standout performer overall, but Zaha played well.

Those stats don't really say that someone was 'anonymous', so I'd question what game you were watching if you thought he was.

Doesn't mean I think we need to go and spend £50m on him anymore. Ship has sailed. We certainly need a player who can offer what he does, though.

I think we need to be daring in the transfer market with obscure players and look at lesser leagues abroad or even the championship. there's some wingers from EPL that be ideal but most of them I feel would require exorbitant fees like neto or raphinha

I know a few have mentioned the lad on here before this season, few links to us after him now and even though its a poor mans farmers league he looks promising.
Young, fast, direct, two footed and looks like he finishes for fun.

Andrew Omobamidele centre half Norwich City 18 years of age, going to be a worldie that kid.

They have a great production line don't they.

Lucas Vazquez played really well for Madrid tonight, I've seen him linked recently, but majority on here think he's crap so ill bow to superior knowledge.

I read that as well, meant to be their next star player.

Vasquez and Militao as the right half of defence are good players. No idea why @TheBigIguana or @MikelsGoat dont rate them :o

Thats a perfect description of Keane isnt it?

"The Oaf"
I call him that away from the forum.

What did you make of Eze? He seems to be getting alot of praise on here.

For me, looks great but doesnt actually do much and found his level.

You wanted Militao to play Right Back.

My statement was he was a CB playing RB, so thanks for agreeing.

It's not so much I don't rate Vazquez, he's fine I guess, as I think he's completely the wrong player for us right now.
