I know but most make the change when they're 24 or younger

That could be said about any position.

July 1995, Gullit signed for Chelsea on a free transfer. Initially played as sweeper by manager Glenn Hoddle with limited success, Gullit was moved to his more familiar role in midfield, where he scored six goals.

Lets hope not.

He was levels ahead of those chelsea defenders.

Famously, Gullit brought the ball down under pressure and laid it off to Duberry to pass it forwards...instead he swore at Gullit in surprise and booted it into the stands.

Another one is Glenn Hoddle of course.

You're right. I don't want players who at 29 are doing something completely different from the rest of their career.

A player plays right wing their career...not noted as being truly top player.

At 28/29 moves to RB and plays very, very well over a season.

"Dont want him".

Thinks hes bringing a gun to a knife fight, when everybody else sees a banana.
Truth is stats are impossible to do for Vazquez. He's played half the season at fullback and half on the wing. It makes him look like an amazing attacking fullback and a winger who wins the ball back a ton.

Well it isn't impossible but you'd have to take the time to split it all up and I'm good with not doing that because I've got other reasons for not wanting him.

The fact that he will be 30 before he kicks a ball for us?

I know you.

Yeah that's obviously the major issue I have. If it was James level whatever, but we're not pretending he'd be anything but a role player and I just think we could do better finding a real replacement at RB and possibly at RW.

Imagine thinking when I look at stats I care about whoscored rating.

Yikes.

According to Whoscored Michael Keane is the best CB in our squad and he has a better rating than Militao.

Still consider it a good source or nar?

Actually i was referring to the fact that hes got more goals and assists than any Madrid defender.

Militao + Vasquez...schooled you both :p

Thats simply not true. He's started at RB almost every time hes played this season.

What does that say about me then lol

Hes a good player.

zaha caused problems for godrey when he came on, coleman managed him quite comfortably

eze just runs and runs and plays clever balls. also helps out defensively and can cover several positions
I really liked the look of Eze. Seen him a good few times before but obviously against our midfield was afforded so much space.
Was calm and confident everytime he was on the ball

Im not sure if they still do but every year Norwich hosted a big tournament for under 14/15s
A lot of the top Irish schoolboy teams were invited as well as Dublin schoolboy selection
Norwich always had a scout or two in Dublin
The Canary Cup? Remember going over with my schoolboy club at 14 from Dublin to play in it . Good times :)
