Another team that was apparently definitely going to overtake us in the long term. Won’t go full Swansea and Stoke but can’t see them troubling the top 6 any time soon.

Yeah, watched them few times and the lad Silva they paid £36m for has been awful everytime. 3 goals in 20 odd games and yet commentators are bigging him up every touch. Watching Kean struggle for us getting 10mins here and there and the same commentators couldnt wait to deride him.

Andrew Johnson and Thomaz Radzinksi are the only 1s that come to mind, I don't suppose Rooney was classed as tall also.

Allan, Doucs, Gmblammo, Davies are serviceable.

You have to have special players to get away with a two. We do not have special players in that position.

Tbh James playing like he did against Palace was pretty close to being a third midfielder and I can even live with that, but it has to be three.

Seems to be everything we don't want.

Slow, small, with no power or pace and very inconsistent.

I mean I like him, but think he would be a bad signing for us and other than 1 or 2 Blammos a season wouldn't really give us anything we need.

Again, I'm not saying hes a bad player, I'm just not sure hes what we need.
