Doubt it, he has been injured since Christmas.
Coutinho without the injury methinks he would fail here just as much as he has done at Barca, no confidence in him at all.

No chance mate, he has been linked with Utd and City and some of the Euro clubs. If it ends up being one out, one in at centre-back, I've been very impressed with Andersen at Fulham.
Agreed, i kinda want us to stay away from the big club rejects tbh.Coutinho without the injury methinks he would fail here just as much as he has done at Barca, no confidence in him at all.
We would have (at very least) had a striker up front when DCL was out injured.Would we have gotten more points this season with Coutinho in the side?
That would be because one of them is crap and the other is James Rodriguez.Scenes when we have James Rodriguez and Coutinho in the side but still play utter dirge football lol
Villa do not want to keep Barkley it appears and I do not want him back here in case any one has ideas, Chelsea reject.
Why post this then? lol
Pape Matar Sarr hype is going into overdrive today...
Coutinho?
He has flopped so hard after leaving Bayern. Also, we have Siggy, Gomes, and James. He'd be redundant though more talented than 2 of those guys
The thing is, others may differ, I did not and do not rate him very highly, he scores two or three great goals a season but is not a great goalscorer. To me he is definitely on the way down, we need on the way up.Agree but there is that Robinho effect to consider which James is also contributing to. Get a couple of top level household name players even towards the end of their careers (not talking Gascoigne / Ginola ages but an age where high level performances can be expected for a couple of years) and suddenly younger top players in their prime are more attracted to come play for us too.
I agree that you need a balance, which is why I’d be swerving the likes of bissouma. We have got a lot of players who we paid the top end of the market rate for (or more, in some cases) and not a lot of players who cost less than that and would likely improve significantly in value. I don’t dislike the likes of Aarons and bissouma at all, but the idea of paying £70-75m for them just screams of continuing with the same strategy that’s been failing for the past however long. For the purposes of balance I’d really like us to pick up a few players who turn out to be worth considerably more than we paid, instead of maxing out on players who are a slight improvement on what we have but not so good that they push us more further on.
