He has flopped so hard after leaving Bayern. Also, we have Siggy, Gomes, and James. He'd be redundant though more talented than 2 of those guys

Tbf to him he looked pretty sharp at the start of this season, but then got a bad injury.

My only thinking here is he is known to be a top level performer in this league and wouldn’t need to adapt.

It won’t happen and it shouldn’t because of his age but that’s the only reason I see it happening.

I feel like there is/was a lot of revisionism about Coutinho just because Barcelona were absolute idiots. His numbers were about the same as Barkley's. And just because he did something here back in 2017 doesn't mean he can do anything near the same level at 29.

Coutinho is miles better than Gomes though. Id have him on loan all day.

People don't like Mina or Keane, possibly Holgate this week as well.

They feel as tho we could improve on them and we very much can.

But if you look at our squad CB isn't really a priority when we struggle to create and score goals most weeks.

Can always improve,but money and CL qualification have a big say in how much improvement.

What’s wrong with Romero? Free transfer offering competition to Pickford.

Same with Wood, he’s arguably a better forward than DCL. The pair of them could cause a lot of issues for defenders, definitely more so than what Tosun and King offer now.

Trippier is much better than Coleman and Kenny, although I’d rather have Aarons.

I haven’t seen much of Sarr but he has a good reputation already.

And Coutinho, I’m unsure on. He’s defo better than Gomes and Gylfi but I doubt we shift either of them so it’s another CM on a massive wage.

All of them would be an improvement on what we have now, whether as starters or back up.
