Again you're missing the second half of it. Selling DCL for 80m is justifiable, replacing him with Andrea Penlotti is not going to work.

Footballs all about opinions if everyone rated the same players then every team would be trying to sign the same 11 players for their side.
You can name me any half decent forward who could come into our current line up and offer what both DCL and Richarlison have offered us most of the season. Both good players but nowhere near elite level which is what £80+ million can buy you.

We couldn't attract an elite CF which is why selling Lukaku was daft.
DCL nor Richarlison are elite level so I honestly wouldn't lose sleep if we sold either for massive money.
How people can watch this current side and tell me that selling any player for £80-100 million is daft I'll never know.
Its a case of crap players making good players seem elite level.
An injury prone near 31 year old James aside none are irreplaceable.

I think we'd have a very tough time finding a player who is a clear upgrade on Dom. I truly do. Yeah we can sign Belotti or En-Nesyri or Ings and they may be slightly better but they also may not. The guys who are a tier up are not obtainable for us.
The other option is sign a player to develop, but we actually have one of those already and we don't want him. So can't see that working.
Richarlison I'd rather not talk about because I just don't want to get into it but he's not at risk of going for a large sum of cash this summer so we don't need to.
