Definitely; saying that Zaha is 50 million now at age 29 is saying that he was 100 million at age 24, and he is no Rashford.

Palace has basically priced him out of ever having a shot at silverware, and it's a credit to him that he never downed tools.

Zaha makes sense. We aren't getting a higher calibre player because we aren't in Europe.

He would definitely make an impact as his style of play is what we're missing. I just hope we aren't paying silly money this time.

You can if you scout correctly look at Leicester they were 9th twice now they've just won a cup and been in the CL race the last two seasons. Because they don't go for obvious over priced players looking for a last payday.

A 'higher calibre player' is exactly what we DON'T need - All of that Isco, Coutinho, Koulibaly rubbish needs to go straight in the bin

We need young, hungry players with something to prove - Not washed up, ex megastars looking for a final payday

Even though I've just said I'd be OK with us signing Zaha, I do really agree with this and have said it before on here. They don't necessarily have to be young in my eyes, look at the impact Barry had. We need a mix of young hungry players with the right attitude and older players with a professionalism and desire to win no matter what. However, such is the state we are in, I would still take Zaha for a few seasons over Iwobi.

Hes a decent layer. Half his goals come from the penalty spot. Hes on big money and would cost a sizable transfer fee. If this is the best we can come up with (a lw when we need a rw) colour me disappointed. He's good and proven in the league but he has never hit top level, hes always been OK.
