Everton Summer transfers 2021

I know that. Was just an additional stat.

I think it's a great price for the type of player he is. Especially when you're Declan Rice's are tauted at silly money. Just because he's not lightening, he's still got an engine. It's the same as saying Gareth Barry wasn't good enough cos of his pace.

As a team, I'd think he'd slot in for balance, work rate, winning the ball, and quality on the ball in possession that we don't have.

Will end up elsewhere but wouldn't be surprised him at a top club for that price.
I don't think he's that good personally. Put him in our midfield and it would be a bit meh.

Hes a decent layer. Half his goals come from the penalty spot. Hes on big money and would cost a sizable transfer fee. If this is the best we can come up with (a lw when we need a rw) colour me disappointed. He's good and proven in the league but he has never hit top level, hes always been OK.
Mate he doesn't take pens. All your other points yeah I agree with but don't come out saying half his goals are pens when he's scored 2 in his career

I feel this would be as good a thread as any to make my first actual post on here.

We had a 10 point progression this season. A similar development next season will likely end in European qualification. Ancelotti and Brands will be looking at realistic and steady evolution.

Looking at our squad we can reasonably expect to offload Delph, Bernard, King, Kean and Jonjoe Kenny.

That means they'll likely be looking at a central midfielder, a right-back and a wide and central forward.

I'm not on football manager so I have no database to tap into, but I'd think the likes of Zaha are highly unlikely and the likes of Diaby at Leverkusen and Aarons are very much likely.

Dynamic and hungry footballers with the profile we do not already possess.

Then, we'll get the bonus of pushing our progress further and quicker if we can shift one of Holgate, Keane and Mina and get a centre half more adept at playing a higher line as Carlo seems very keen on.

So four-five out and four-five in. There will be nothing more dramatic then that I'm afraid.

You're basing this on the likelihood of us getting rid of Delph, who is going to be stupid enough to buy him? Also you're expecting Everton Football Club to make good decisions, that very rarely happens

I'd be very happy with that but aren't United and Arsenal in for Diaby and Arsenal and Spurs in for Aarons? Can't see them choosing us over them even with Ancelloti. We've screwed ourselves not getting European footie.

Is this not conveniently sweeping under the rug he's had some pretty big swings and misses? Fofana and Tielemans are both good players but were also big money signings that for that sort of money should be good. And then he spent 50 million on Praet and Ayoze Perez, neither of whom would get into our team. Cengiz Under hardly pulled up any trees this season either.
Better strike rate than that Dutch ball bag we have.

The thing about the 10 point improvement is it almost entirely is down to getting 13 from 15 to start the year and that team is gone. We haven't played remotely close to that way since the first derby.

And also our atrocious start to the previous season under Silva.

It's an incredibly misleading stat.

It only takes one or two winners to bring the rest of the team up with them
