It's what we do. We keep young players for years too long.
I'm not saying we shouldn't look out for our academy lads, but the right thing to do is help them find clubs where they can play football on a regular basis. It's not keeping them in our 23s team until they are 26.

The lad certainly looks a talented striker, arguably has more quality than Simms. Indeed, perhaps they have decided to move Simms on.
I can only think he’s impressing in training & Ancelotti would like to see him pre-season but if that’s the case then I can‘t think why he wasn’t used in the last 10 days or so of the season.

In terms of actually creating goals and assists, pretty sure Bolasie will have had a better record over his last 2 years in the Prem with Palace than ASM has with Newcastle.
Do like ASM though. Just think we need a different type of winger as a priority... and then maybe if the money is there you look at someone like him.
