Let’s be honest he’s just your big standard midfielder, might be ok technically, and I do t know his stats but does he create loads? He doesn’t seem to score any goals, assists?

I think we need a midfielder that is at least greet at one thing, either brilliant defensively, brilliant on the ball, create loads or scores goals. Or is just a beast in the middle of the park. I’m not sure Neves ticks any of them boxes

we have plenty of average midfield players at Everton, we don’t need more

I say get zaha in. At home get Rodriguez in behind DCL spreading the ball to either zaha or richarlison. Both more the capable of beating there man in 1 on 1 situations.

Big games get another midfielder in to swap with Rodriguez. ........Anguissa or Bissouma.

If we had a squad with flying wingers and lots of mobility he could be an option. But we don't have that.
