We need to sign another CM. Yes.

Should we also massively upgrade players if its going to cost circa £5mil on top of their sale price? Yes.

But we only need one whereas selling Davies means two.

Booting Gbamin/Delph/Slomes doesnt mean two as they offer nothing to us.

We need to strenghten too many areas to be fannying around trying to sign unnecessary positions imo.

So, if we could sell Davies for £15mil...

...and spend £20mil on a far superior younger player...

...you wouldnt do it?

Wow :o

Do you not think Gbamin deserves an opportunity to show he can be injury free? very harsh writing the lad off after his horrendous bad luck since joining.

He’s been at the club for nearly 2 years mate. He is physically done.
I don't agree, players can come back after that long out. Remains to be seen if he will be at the required level but not a chance with modern medicine is he anywhere near done like.

I thought that after the second injury

This most recent one has shown that not only is he injury prone, he’s also prone to get bad injuries whenever he gets one - not an ideal combination

No but they've been really unusual injuries. The club haven't wrote him off and I won't yet although it doesn't look promising whether he can come back to the level he was before, whatever that was as we didn't see him play lol
