Wolves fan in peace here... With all due respect I don't think Nuno going to Everton would be a step up, more of a sideways step when you look at his achievements in the past couple of seasons compared to yours. Also, I don't think there's any chance of Neto being sold this summer... currently injured and would demand a higher transfer fee than what Liverpool paid for Jota due to Neto's potential.

Explain please how it's a sideways step? Size of club? History? Honours? And we will be spending more then Wolves

He plays and captains for one of Europe's biggest side plus is a first team starter for Netherlands.

Of course he can control a ball and pass.

1 min he plays a forward pass which I haven't seen a right back do all season

Yeah, he's very similar to Sidibe which has always been my concern.

But, Sidibe was brilliant when Monaco won the league and got to the CL semi-finals. He just dropped off around 2018 time and never really recovered his form.

If Dumfries can avoid that then he can be an excellent player, I've liked him for a while.

But we'll see. No activity is going to happen until we get a new manager.

I love it when other team supporters come here and tell us we're not a step up for anyone. Watford did it with both Silva and Doucoure. Southampton did with Koeman. It's always a sideways step.

Wouldn't he have been 24-25 when he was at his peak and they won the league? And people are still pretending that isn't the new norm?

I remain far from fully convinced by the Dumfries link.... 15-20 million on a 25 year old who has never played the PL is risky. Get younger blood Marcel!
