Wolves fan in peace here... With all due respect I don't think Nuno going to Everton would be a step up, more of a sideways step when you look at his achievements in the past couple of seasons compared to yours. Also, I don't think there's any chance of Neto being sold this summer... currently injured and would demand a higher transfer fee than what Liverpool paid for Jota due to Neto's potential.
You see? This is what more than two decades of Kenwright will get you: Southampton, West Ham, and Wolves fans getting notions that they are on the same level as we are. To be fair to Chris and others, in one way they are. They've certainly "achieved" as much as we have under Blue Bill. In that sense, I welcome the opinions and visits of people like Chris. They shine a mirror at us and show us what we have become: a second-rate also-ran that they recognise as one of their own.

Take it down to three since they spent the years before that in the championship and it isn't much different

I'm really not you know.

I am just being realistic.

The whole history honours thing went out the window when Man City got their money.

Did they have history and honours prior to that?
Neither did Chelsea before Ambramovich but things change. After the "big six" we are still a name that attracts players and managers and hopefully soon we'll be back in our rightful place as one of the big six after all, originally we were

"Norwich wont sell players now theyre promoted"

Buendia joins Villa £35mil.

Instead of Aarons were now linked to Dumfries...

...massive downgrade.

Sadly our last twenty five years says they are similar.

I wish Villa had gotten Relegated in 19/20 season

Looking like a real good team now , although i do think Buendia is overrated he fell off hard after a flying start last time Norwich were up

This is how a proper DOF makes a name for himself, meanwhile Brands walks in and spunks 30million on Iwobi.

"On 30 July 2020, Lange joined Premier League team Aston Villa as Sporting Director.[7] Following Aston Villa's survival from relegation the previous season, and subsequent departure of Jesus Garcia Pitarch as Sporting Director, Lange was tasked with helping build a team that would challenge at the top half of the Premier League, rather than battle against relegation.[8] The signings of Emi Martínez, Matty Cash, Bertrand Traoré, Ollie Watkins and Morgan Sanson as well as Ross Barkley joining on loan from Chelsea helped Aston Villa to achieve that goal, finishing 11th in Lange's first season, spending most of the season in the top half of the table and having not been in serious danger of relegation at any point of the season."
