"Very good" ?

Do some of YOUR memories not go beyond 5minutes...see below:

Adama Traore for Wolves

18/19: 29 premier league games 1 goal
19/20: 37 premier league games 4 goals
21/22 37 premier leqgue games 2 goals

Total = 103 games 7 goals

All competitions: 131 gqmes 10 goals

Rafael Leao: We wanted him at Lille. At Milan hes been hot/cold and moved around positions. I think hes best on the left hand side and if we were really splashing the cash he would be a decent rotation option for Richarlison.

However, Milan are asking silly money for him and i dont see him being under £30mil which means we could aim for a younger player to develop there instead.

Trincao: Hes a tough one as he did well for Braga but hasnt been given a chance for Barcelona. If James is playing on the right then he could be an ideal player to bring in on loan to rotate with him.

Similar to James the way he looks to come inside on his left foot. Quite like him but a bit risky to sign him permanently.

Tbf I saw a few Wolves games last season and he should have got more assists if not for terrible finishing. Was massively let down by their strikers

I’d have him just for his unreal pace, we literally have no fast players apart from Godfrey

A winger with 5 goal/10 assist potential would be welcomed here by me. #WelcomeTraore

I would take Traore at 20-30mil. But not more than that.

He really was let down by the Jiminez injury and his replacements being utter gash last season. He's a useful player. It's why he is in the Spain squad.

Whether he is sometimes wasteful, not technically sound, etc he gets the job done. I'd have him for a reasonable fee

Bewildering how some posters rate this donkey.

We aren't going to sign Traore or Zaha. They're both massively overvalued by their clubs and would therefore cost far too much in relation to their actual worth.

As has been pointed out by others, Traore's career stats in this country are virtually identical to Iwobi... We want rid of Iwobi because he's not good enough, so why would we pay more than the fee we get for selling Iwobi (which will likely be less than £20m) for a replacement who is no better?

As for Zaha... You could sign Olise AND Pereira for less than Zaha, and they've both got another five years minimum in them. Zaha has got Arouna Kone written all over him.

If we do get Nuno i wonder if its worth signing anyone.

Id just focus on selling the deadwood

….worth adding that Iwobi has a superior goal ratio than Traore.

Surely we can spend our monies on a pacy player with genuine goal and creativity threat.

This isn't a defense of anybody specifically but we need to stop doing x player only has x goals as a criticism of anyone who isn't a striker.

I mean I think I remember people saying Digne had a bad season because he wasn't scoring FFS. It isn't always their job.

How many pens has traore won or how many times has he been fouled which has resulted in a goal from a free kick? Anyone have those stats

Didn’t think so

Wasn’t he playing right wing back for at least 2 seasons for wolves as well?

….we so need a goal scoring contribution from our attacking wide players, it’s such a much needed requirement. It’s perfectly reasonable to look at an attacking players goal ratio.

To say scoring goals ‘isn’t their job’ is simply incorrect, it’s a vital part of their game.

….how many goals have Wolves conceded because he fails to go with runners when the opposition has the ball, certainly one glaring goal we scored against them.

Folk see Traore run past players with his amazing acceleration and think ‘wow, that’s just what we need’. His muscular frame & running power make him virtually unstoppable, but I urge folk to watch him over the course of 90mins. He can be quite a liability and rarely impacts from a goal or creativity perspective.

if there’s a use for a player of Traore’s type, it’s coming off the bench as an impact sub. £30m is a lot to pay for a player who will soon be a non-starter. Brands is paid a lot of money to identify the type of player we need, surely we can do better than Traore.

Agree. Just sell the deadwood and ensure we don't get relegated. Then we fire this donkey in 18 to 24 months time then all the deadwood is gone and the new manager can start with a clean slate.

I think he'll be lucky to last till January....amazed if he lasts 12 months.
Have no fear. Kia J and Jorge will ensure their buddy Farhad pays out the ass yet again for sacking a manager, then Farhad will go back to them for another hire and/or transfer "help".

Rinse and repeat until Jorge and Kia J retire early as the world's richest men due solely to Farhad giving them all the money he has ever had or will ever make.

Correct. We need 3 or 4 players scoring double figures each year. You would expect one to be your winger

And so it begins...

Squad player for sporting...not good enough.

€20mil would be laughable...not worth half that.
