….we so need a goal scoring contribution from our attacking wide players, it’s such a much needed requirement. It’s perfectly reasonable to look at an attacking players goal ratio.

To say scoring goals ‘isn’t their job’ is simply incorrect, it’s a vital part of their game.

Traore is a strange one. Whenever we play Wolves I always worry about his pace even though he has zero end product. But he causes panic and takes multiple players out of position.

I get the point about Iwobi but I can imagine any teams we play ever worry about him.

I don't want either but I would take Traore over Iwobi.

Why did this Nunes only start 12 games for Sporting last season.

I posted about him 2 or 3 pages back if anyones bothered

Hes not first choice by any stretch...probably 4 midfielders ahead of him (he can play defensive/box to box/attacking).

Palhinha and Goncalves are the two to go for.

Doesn't seem to be a Mendes player. Must be a Brands special.

his age and potential really....though a bigger euro club would have been all over him. Looks an exciting player, and if reports are true, reasonable fee.

Can easily see him turning a big profit on him quite quickly.

I wouldn't be so sure, a big wage but little or no fee.
He would bring huge experience and a winning mentality.

We have seen at Chelsea the importance of the Thiago Silva signing

As long as the other signings are of young players.

I have just seen a list of the players signed at a young age by NES and it is impressive.
A couple of duds but generally very good including Dedonker, October, ,Neves,Neto ,Jots and Traore, all signed at about 21/22 years old.

Big difference in signing an aged wing back and an aged centre half.
