Watching Sky Sports News, David Gold says he has bid 25 million for a striker in the prem. He wouldn't reveal who it was.

wonder who it might be, knowing his absolute disdain for us i reckon it might be Lukaku. He was previously linked to signing Mirallas at one point remember.

Twas the other porn baron, David Sullivan (him who dresses as a Russian general at matches). Stated that WHU have lodged a Euro 30m bid and have a prem striker in mind if that fails for £25m. Said WHU were going to spend circa £50m in this coming window.

Still we're supposed to be spending upwards of £100m so suck it up WHU

Sell on clauses don't work that way mate, they only work on any profit on a future sale over what the buying club paid, so for Rooney - think we got like 27m in total for him with all the addons etc over the years, so we'd get 25% of whatever they recieved over 27m, in this scenario you outlined we would recieve not 7.5m but 750k (25% of 3m)

Could be Benteke, Walcott or Bony, in the current climate and with West Hams track record 25m sounds about right for them to pay for any of those
