Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Rooney is 30 now but will still cost a pretty huge transfer sum. He is on massive wage too. This is a no go add to the fact that he is way past his best.

The Echo going on about how much of a statement signing Rooney would be, wonder if that means there's a possibility of him coming back.
Wouldn't be the biggest statement, in my mind. Still, I wouldn't mind him returning. I think he could be an asset.

The problem is, though I could see United selling, I can't see us getting away with paying anything less than an overly inflated price for him.

Just saying, not long ago you were getting yourself all in a lather over Jack Butland, before that it was some German lad.

Show some loyalty.

Actually id still rather have Butland because hes proven in the league and English.

Then Rico or Leno. Who do you want?

I still get sad when i think- we finally have a big money owner, TV cash, lots of cash to spend and our two biggest stars want to leave....horrible that we will sell two of the best young strikers/defenders in the world and replace them with some above mediocre replacements (Hello Bony! Benteke!).

Only way i feel better is if we get Aubamayang or Lacazette in as Striker, that would be sweet :)

West Ham bid £31m for Lacazette last week and got knowhere.
