Sirgu most certainly is not better than Hart. Is Trapp better than Hart in your opinion?

I can't understand the devaluation of Hart he is in the upper echelon of keepers.

He's not exciting and foreign mate so immediately gets looked over by some. He's a great keeper.

Well it's not really quantifiable in different leagues but he's still a great keeper nonetheless. Regardless I like Hart those two are just miles cheaper.

Fair enough. I think Joel is better than Sirgu but Handanovic would definitely be a step up from them both.

He isn't the player he was pre-injury sadly. Ajax fans can't believe anyone has paid £5m for him.

Aye he isn't but at 21 I still consider that a steal if he regains the form he had when he first came onto the scene. Probably got my FIFA head on a little mind.

Hart is 29, I doubt he'll get worse until 33 at the earliest and 4 years of having a great goalkeeper (I remember Messi praising him a year or so ago) would be a fine signing, imo.
And then we get Butland after we've been in the top 4 for a couple years in a row.

We have to agree that we need two keepers not one right?

If the team brings in a new #1 and essentially boxes Joel out...then I cannot see Joel (or anybody really) having the right mind to deal with that career blow. Basically it is saying to Joel you will never be good enough for Everton to be the number 1.
