fair enough, but if you are going to be spending £X on a player, don't you want to get the best player £X will buy? Forster is 2nd/3rd choice for England. Butland would be in front of him if he weren't injured. Leno would cost roughly the same and is a much better keeper. Watched a lot of Leverkusen over the last 18 months, he's excellent.

I don't watch German football, I'd expect Monchi if he comes in the have a list of keepers as long as your arm though. Don't panic.

In my opinion we need a goalkeeper , Attacking midfielder, Left footed winger and two maybe three strikers. The striker is key for me we need someone who will press for us. Someone similar to Vardy really. Any thoughts on names guys?

No need to be dropping 40 mill on a keeper IMO. Plenty of good keepers about for logical sheckles.

Wonder if Monchi coming would put Rico and Gameiro on the table. Like those two.... Add Janssen, Sigurdsson (or maybe Ziyech), Mane and a bruiser of a CB into the mix and we might be sorted.

I would think we want to be careful about buying in league players as the value will be inflated....

Would rather a Rico or a Horn for 10-15 than a Forster for 25.....

Tadic isn't very good. Mane would be good for us but will cost 30 million minimum. Wanyama would be a great buy and would easily be our best CM, he will go for about 12 - 15 million as he is in the last year of his contract and is refusing to sign another one, but he is destined for Spurs as that's where he wants to go.

Tadic is a very good player when on form. He was excellent in the second half of the season.

It's a shame we didn't get him. It's obvious that we need a new goalkeeper after Howards departure. IMO Zieler was the best option. Good german goalkeeper, should be third choice in the german national team and a bargain, since his team relegated.
