tbh though mate, think this season on we are gonna see stupidly high increases in the top wages paid by a lot of clubs, West Ham, Leicester are already going into those realms (Leicester with 90-100k on vardy when he re-signed for example) West Ham going to 150k on reports for walcott etc and Payet on something over 120k now isn't he?

Agents know that the money is their now in the league to demand those wages, if we won't pay then they will just go down the list of teams and others will do, it's a case of if we try to maintain a 'sensible' structure then we will just lose out right across the board

Our max wage will i am pretty sure hit 150k + this summer, lets face it - we supposedly bid for Hart - no chance on earth he is signing for less than that i think

Liverpool were paying players like Gerrard and Torres 140k a week back in 2009. I don't know what their revenues were like back in 2009, but I wouldn't be surprised to find that they were similar to Everton's in 2016, and possibly even smaller than our future income.

It would also take Osman around 2 days to form a revolt if he got wind of such wages, poor guy is having to live on 30k a week for hardly doing anything of note.
