Not a dig at you personally, as several others have suggested him too... but Pelle is 30 years old. He turns 31 in July. He scored 11 goals and made 7 assists in 30 Prem games this year; 12 goals and 2 assists in 38 Prem games last year. Less than 20 international caps, less than 10 international goals. He is clearly not an adequate replacement for Lukaku. What are people suddenly seeing in him?

He not my replacement for lukaku but more like his competition if we sell lukaku then I expect us to buy a striker for alot of money

For me we go all out for one of Butland,Hart or Forster .

Yes they will be expensive but it's the signals it sends out and it's s position where if we play our cards right, it will be a superb investment.

You pay 28m for a forward knowing he will stay three or four years at a push.

You pay 30m for a goalie knowing he will in theory, progress dependent, stay for seven or eight years .
