OK, so that means we need to sell everyone who has been here for 5 years?

Yep they are not good enough to go for Champ league, all losers, Jags is not a captain or a leader. Baines is in his last season, Barry will not start next year so get him off wage bill, not hard is it really to work out

I'm honestly struggling to understand the love in for Sneijder.
There's no point in bringing in a name if they can't effectively contribute, no point in bringing a "name" in to be a name.
Especially now when we can afford quality players who also have name recognition.
Does Samuel Eto'o ring a bell.
Our focus must be to bring in quality players who will improve our first team.
Sneijder doesn't do that, while he was world class he isn't that anymore.
Only 5 goals and 7 assists in 25 appearances in a crap league and he's not going to get any better or younger.
Totally agree, even if the fee is cheap, doubt the wages are! I don't even think his name is That big anyway, 5 years ago I would be buzzing but not now.
It is nice to see us linked with a much better calibre of player now though!

U do
Hopefully we get rid of all players who have been here 5+ years, clearly non of them are good enough or would be at bigger clubs by now, bin off jags baines etc, then likes of barry mccarthy clevz kone, that is why i wanted Emery personally he would of binned off so many of them in a heart beat
You don't know that

Hoolahan is a better option than Mata for a number of reasons.
- Mata would be expensive and on big wages
- Mata also fades after 70 mins
- Mata would think he's bigger than the club after where he's come from
- Mata usually can;t handle the more physical aspects of the game
- Hoolahan would be cheap for signing and wages, granted he's getting on a bit
- Hoolahan doesn't go missing during games
- Hoolahan wouldn't complain if he was benched/taken off during games
- Hoolahan has a great assist and scoring record for his price range.

Worth a gamble I think and if it didn't work out it wouldn't be a big financial loss.

You forgot one thing.
Wes hoolahan couldnt lace mata's boots.

Same amount as Jags and Baines has, both losers, both part of a back four that let in 150 goals in 18 months, ship them out and start a fresh..
You could have put any defender in that back 4 last year and we would have conceded, no player is going to ignore his managers tactics

They were also part of a record breaking defence for us in the premier league. I'd hardly call them losers, both international footballers who have played at the top level and most of all have performed to a high standard for us.

See that bin outside your mum's house, throw yourself in it.
