Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Maybe, I'd say Gerri offers much more in the terms of creativity and Mane is more Mirallas in the terms of he's more goalscorer than chance creator.

You'd partner the two if anything, not replace one for the other.

Whose arsed anyway, he's a bad kopite, we're targeting much much better players.

I really hope your right.

Geri is a different type of winger than Mane, there is a lot of things Deulofeu does better than mane, he can pick a better pass, he is certainly better at crossing, but doesn't get into as many goal scoring positions as Mane does.

I'd rather have Deuolfeu in the long term, he'll become the better player out of the two.

take away the fact Geri is Everton and Mane is Liverpool and then make an informed choice. I think most would go for Mane. I keep hearing all the comparisons when someone is linked with us or goes to another club.....If our players were that awesome we would have finished higher than we did, irrespective of the managers failings. We have some good players but no real world class ones. Lukaku being the closest but still a lot to learn.

James would be a big gamble, was bought after a good few games vs poor players in world cup, couldn't hack it in spanish league was benched regularly by a kid isco, I would love him but not sure if he would join us.

I don't think he'd be a gamble at all. He's one of the best players in the world (the tier below Ronaldo and Messi IMO). He's the same age as Isco who is also a top class player.

Flair players are more at home in the PL than ever before, and if there's even a 20% chance of getting James we should be excited as we haven't bought a world superstar in about 40 years lol

Mike chatting wham again. Robben came from PSV (a minor European team those days in all respect) so wasn't exactly marquee at the time just another prospect. Robinho was marquee.

Also Isco is the same age as James Rodriguez so not sure how benched for a kid works pal. He is a brilliant player.

James is 25 in less than 15 days, Isco just turned 24, at the start of this season isco just turned 23 and James was 24

Anyway the is 18 months difference and isco is a better player and more developed clearly, why he is rotting on bench every week.

Yes I said Robben was coming to end of club career (PSV) you think if he did not join Chelsea nobody would of signed him and would of retired at psv. Delusional.

Than James? Very, very debatable. Fear this statement is rather wrong here.

...I didn't think he was a regular starter at Real. I suppose that means he's not one of the best at Madrid, never mind the world.

So Chelsea's players finished exactly where their talent level should have had them? Ooook.
Bit silly to say regardless of an inept manager.

Rather hard to name a Premier League team he wouldn't walk into and improve immediately.

What a player. Can't believe he'd be labelled as a gamble. Not a chance, not ever is he a gamble.
