Schmeichel just won the league at 6'1, Claudio Bravo is the same height and plays for Barca and just won back to back copa america titles. Robles is an inch taller than neuer so we might as well go with what we have

Let's get this straight. Yes I want a quality keeper but I also want him with reasonable height (say 6'2). No contradiction at all.

I want the keeper can come out and claim the ball not struggling with high ball due to the lack of height.

aslong as they are 6ft it means not a lot at all.

I mean like coming out to claim the high ball knowing that the opposition striker is going for the ball at the sametime. Height counts. Granted I understand what you mean but I prefer quality keeper with height like 6'2 6'3.

Casillas is 6'1, Valdes 6'0, Julio Cesar 6'1. In their peak all amongst the best in the world. Meanwhile Massimo Taibi is 6'3, Heurelho Gomes 6'3, Stuart Taylor 6'5.

That said, I think it's a definite advantage for keepers to be taller, but not one that can't be overcome by good positioning.
