I doubt we need 3 keepers so he either really doesn't fancy Joel or reckon he can get away with this bloke as his #1, which would be incredibly underwhelming.

Koeman lost his number 1 for a large portion of last season, he knows the risks with only having 2 keepers in the first team.

I'd have him as a THIRD choice but literally nothing more.
