Everton Transfer Thread 2016

http://www.telegraaf.nl/telesport/26095730/__Koeman_wil_Stekelenburg_halen__.html

Maarten Stekelenburg is almost certainly the first gain for Ronald Koeman at Everton. The new boss of the brothers Koeman should the 54-time international only soak his official employer Fulham.

Although Stekelenburg came out last year for Southampton, he is still under contract until 2017 at London's Fulham.Southampton took him last year for an entire season on loan and therefore not entitled to any transfer fee.

farewell Howard
Koeman needs a new first keeper as Everton took this summer retired after ten years of the legendary keeper Tim Howard.Stekelenburg enjoys confidence. He was a big part of the season with the Saints first keeper of the fact that Fraser Forster with a severe injury was long out of circulation. But now Foster is fit, Stekelenburg has no appetite to remain second goalkeeper.

That position he had at AS Monaco and AS Roma, and that messed up his chances of a return to the Dutch team. In England the keeper has his reputation considerably jacked by his strong period under the crossbar at Southampton.

no prize
For Stekelenburg does not have to be paid for the prize, as his contract expires at the end of next season. Everton is in any case a big suitcase with money available for purchases.Koeman has made his wishes known to the club, which now has to work with the players he wants.

Schneiderlin open to reunification
Morgan Schneiderlin, which ended up at Manchester United on the bench but under Koeman at Southampton was one of the best midfielders, is open to a reunion with his old coach.
This is my biggest problem so far. We NEED an absolute boss keeper. How many times has De Gea or Lloris just made us livid because they saved everything? Stekelenburg is not the keeper we need. He'd be a good backup, but it says in that blurb 'Stekelenburg has no appetite to remain second goalkeeper'.

Yeah, hope it's a case of this.

Going off the way it unfolded with Koeman I think this is very much the case. The Echo had no clue and were flip-flopping while McNulty, Joyce and the likes said it's done.

Towards the end of the Euros, we will see proper, briefed rumours.

May even see some in the Dutch media, not too sauced on who Koeman's agent deals his info to though.

Terrible names linked I agree even Paul Joyce has linked us with people like Krul. Not counting chickens though, would be nice to see us inquire about some big boys and upset the status quo of the Sky top 4.

Echo are clueless, make bold claims then contradict themselves will write anything to sell papers, one time they even said we should be wanting Leicester to win the league, sham of a paper.

Owned by Trinity Mirror so what do you expect really. All their Twitter and Facebooks are click bait to hell.

Shame really as I used to read it religiously for news.

It is pretty clear that Moshiri and co play their cards very close to their chests - all that you hear in the press will be nothing but speculation by clueless hacks trying to sell papers/boost website clicks. When something serious is going on, we'll hear through the ITK channels before the press do. Chill, it's still June, the Euros are still on and the window hasn't even opened yet. Koeman did not come here with the promise of £100M to spend only to decide "nah".....and spend 20p on some squad fillers. DoF will be key in this window so hopefully that will be sorted soon.

Yeah starting now got a lot more time on their hands between matches.

All forum ITK's have gone silent as well.

Detelegraph might be the one to look out for.

On facebook groups people was talking about how the echo was part of the problem regarding martinez, would not surprise me if they are on payroll EFC does that, ' what papers say' everyday, echo probably gets commissioned to browse social media for blag info and print lies.
