There is plenty of time but its generally better to get them in early rather than signing them all a week or two before the window shuts. Seems like every season we leave things late as we have had to wait for cash to become available from wherever... hopefully this season is different.

Everton under 18 goal keeper, it is hard to not be underwhelmed when the is some clubs that have finished above us and have signed 3/4 players already.

We sacked a manager and had a longer wait then others to get one in place. Out of all them teams above, managers have all been in place or incoming and planning for a few months.

It wasn't going to be a case of sacking martinez, and hiring someone and making signings the next day.

Nothing really in currant market just would like to get best deal possible not keep buying niasses at 13.5 mil

...or the managers of those clubs aren't responsible for their transfer dealings?

either or really. We don't have a Dof/Sporting Director or anyone who really handles that at the club. The club is currently set up (i say that as it looks like we are after a DOF) for the manager to have near total control of who comes into the club.

With Martinez going and the wait for Koeman, signings were never going to be before training starts.
