It looks that way for sure. I'm just hoping that the players can be attracted to joining us when so many other clubs are also cash rich.

I guess it will need to be a selling job by Moshiri et al. No CL, obvs, FFP will impact somehow, but the (bloody hate this word in footy), "project" and ambition might be the key. And dosh.

Nice problem to have I guess.

Think mate besides for the very very top clubs (United, City, Chelsea) we can more than match any other teams wage offer (including beating the wages offered by the likes of spurs, liverpool, arsenal) so it's down to convincing the player we are heading places and thats Koemans - moshiris and the incoming DOF's job to do.

I'm personally hoping that we can build a really good squad over the next 3 seasons and maybe even grab a top 4 finish in that time.

If we as a club can get into a strong postion in time for our new waterside home, we'd be in a very good situation to attract top talent.

It seems that the DOF will be a big part of this and even though people are getting concerned with the timescales of getting one/signing players, I'm glad that Moshiri isn't rushing into making that decision.

No mate, just people falling over Palace signing Mandanda and Andros Townsend.

Nothing on our end, not expecting anything till next week tbh.
I'm not saying Mandanda is a bad keeper at all, but we can do better I'm sure.

My mate reckons Tim Krul is decent, although I have slight reservations.

Bottom line is, I'm not losing sleep over Mandanda going to Palace.

Is he blind ? Hes been injured a lot and even when hes played hes looked a shadow of the keeper he looked like 3 or 4yr ago

I don't think he's great and I'd be disappointed if we didn't use our financial muscle so to speak, on a younger keeper who'd give us a few more years. Neither am I losing sleep over it, move on to the next one.

Terrified of Krul, glorified shot stopper who is very suspect. Huge injury concern too.
