I'm sorry mate, but nothing you can tell me is going to make me feel Axel Witsel is a £30m/100k per week wages footballer.

If we are contemplating overpaying footballers so badly to get them to Everton then I fear for our club.

agreed. from what ive seen he is not a £30 mill player. even in a hyped up market. thats mata type money.

This is like my ~4th Summer transfer window; also the one with most promise; and somehow is the one with the highest levels of head popping???? I don't understand it.

I guess some of the unrest will be down to just how poor and frustrating Everton have been these past couple of years.

A new manager and owner is great but I guess some are waiting to see some squad harmony. Too many players are still acting like nothing has changed and I think that is reflecting on some of the fans.

Never said that. I'm just saying that in the world where Watford recieve bids of £38m and £25m for Idhalo and Troy [Poor language removed] Deeney, RS buy Sadio Mane for £36m and Hulk has ~£300k a week wages we should not be complaining about that price that much. We have the money, remember.

I still believe we're getting him for £25-£27m max and that's good enough for me. Would prefer Schniederlin, though.
