Witsel to choose between Everton and Napoli soon according to Sky Sports Italia who are quoting a much lower transfer fee than expected. Don't know how credible it is but I hope he waits until Mata signs for us, assuming Mata's going to, as I'm sure that would be a positive influence when trying to decide between the Italian sunshine and the fresh breeze off the Mersey.
"Axel Witsel is expected to give his decision over the next 24 hours, whittling his options down to Napoli and Everton. Sky Sport Italia claim that other alternatives, such as Liverpool, Juventus, Roma and Milan, have been discarded. The Belgium international midfielder is due to make his choice tomorrow.
Although there have been reports of a much bigger offer from Everton, Zenit are prepared to let Witsel go for €15m. He is only under contract with the Russian club until 2017 and made it abundantly clear he wants to move on.
