Everton Transfer Thread 2016

No ones called you a WUM you fake Internet warrior.
Oh they have. But I am referring to other members to be honest. I don't get why people seemingly aren't allowed an opinion without being abused for it? Very strange, probably unique to this forum. It seems you have to agree to everything The Esk says, a bit like some sort of weird religious cult. I am really happy that he is sharing his info, I just think his sources are either not as good as people think or have been promising him too much, which he then - with all of the best intentions - is passing on to the forum here. Live and let live!

Hard man? I think you'll find I've never, ever so much as called anybody an offensive name on here. :) I think you need to start letting other members have different opinions than your own. Either we will sign somebody today or we won't. Doesn't really matter each way, as we'll surely sign somebody soon, and we'll see how good The Esk's sources really are and can congratulate / berate him accordingly. lol

Why would you want to berate Esk? I just don't get all of this wierd playground stuff. He has provided info that was provided to him by sources unknown. He always corroborates any received info with at least 2 reputable sources before he goes public. If things change then that my friend is simply human nature (uncontrollable forces). The transfer market is a fluid dynamic environment, where good intelligence is often rendered useless by a change in circumstances.

Esk is not some internet scruff sitting in a bedsit in Bootle stirring the pot (e.g @chicoazul). Any info he provides is provided in the genuine belief that it is accurate. So pipe down, get the kettle on and wait for things to unfold and if doesn't pan out then we move on. It's not Esk's fault if a transfer breaks down FFS!

Quite an offensive accusation there fella throwing the name of that rag round here. May I suggest you pipe down and stop acting the jarg Internet hardman as it is quite pathetic.

That's the sort of talk that would've earned him a slap down the pub, chin him Llama*

*as a pacifist I don't condone violence in any form unless it's in relation to that scummy newspaper and any accusations made thereof.

I've just mentioned it in another post. I blame his sources, as they've clearly told him "We're signing so and so today/tomorrow/this week" and it has failed to happen. Same with Emery, same with the Sevilla director of football. Our moderator Esk is passing on the info with all of the very best intentions, but when it doesn't come off it is very frustrating for a lot of people.

Considering what has been happening in France, I wouldn't now expect to see any announcements today. Not ITK, just my thoughts.
I don't mean this in an insensitive way but the world cannot just stop because of it.

In fact i would imagine it would be exactly what said perpetrators would want everyone to do.

So yeah, business as usual, or lack of in our case.

It's football. Get a life mate. 99.9 % of the members on this forum would rather read Esks posts than yours.

He isn't claiming to be in the know mate. So if it doesn't happen or we dont sign said player then he isn't saying we ARE signing them, just passing we are interested.

Like if chelsea bid 70 million for mata and signed him from under us, these things happen. Just note the tone of his posts, between fact and his opinion

how do you function in your own life when things change which happens every day. Look to blame someone or deal with it and move on like normal minded people do. Have a day off will you.

Firstly - he told us that Koeman was our number one target. (Very soon after Martinez was sacked). However as it panned out, Koeman's original agent rebuffed our advances saying he was happy at Soton and tried to push his other client FDB in our direction. We then started negotiations with Emery who then became our prime target (again Esk told us of this).

Once Koeman binned off his agent - and declared his interest, our focus switched back to Koeman. (Again ESK said that we had a major interest in Emery, but Koeman was always number one target.

And as for Monchi - as far as I'm aware that book isn't closed yet. Again I would say that overall his sources have been pretty reliable and constant throughout all the transfer shenanigans.
