Most people are very optimistic.

People need to realise that an owner having money doesn't always mean we are going on spending sprees.

Look at Arsenal. They are loaded yet their owners are more keen on watching the pennies.

Look at Liverpool and their moneyball setup. They buy cheap-ish, rubbish players and sell them on for profit.

Possibly aa koeman is used to working with a DOF on transfers hes the short term solution for signings? I dont think any of us know his full role at the club.

Who have we heard it from though? Not the club.

As ever with the internet, extreme opinions get more responses, so it looks like they are the majority.

Those saying everything is different now, good times are coming etc etc.....try being a bit more sceptical, thats not positive its blind optimism.

Those saying noting has changed, we are being 'led down the primrose path' ....cheer up, you may well be wrong.

The truth we dont know, we wont even know after after one or tow signings, we may have a better idea when we can compare our net spend for this window in comparison to the rest.
