Everton Transfer Thread 2016

If we are serious about Yarmolenko (personally I think it's lazy Journolisim) then now is the right time to bid. If he has a great Euros his price with sky rocket and we'll have no chance

Seldom do I quote a media outlet as I massively distrust them, but this article, while some of the players mentioned I'd like to see, seems to have been the journalist simply randomly picking players and a club, and saying "linked with".

I'll quote the Everton part.

I always liken the gossip sections to when ebay send you a list of things you might be interested in based on your last purchase. Some of the stuff is so far off what I would want to purchase but it is still viewed as a worthwhile exercise. These journalists are just doing the same.

So 11 goals in 21 games including champions league and international friendly.... Not bad for a midfielder Yarmolenko for Naismith would be the greatest peice of business martinez could possibly pull

Everton. Looking for a keeper. Begovic ideally. Also keen on Montero at Swansea if others go and can tempt them.
Begovic would be an upgrade on Howard (but who wouldn't). Montero is an upgrade on mcgready. But personally I'd rather give Robles a run in the side till the end of the season and then sign a keeper. On the other hand if yarmenlenko is available now we should go all out to get him. He is such an intelligent footballer. Baines hasn't looked the same since his almost telepathic understanding with piennar was cut short due to piennar's injuries. Yarmelenko on the left (I know he plays right side for Kiev but sure he could adapt) and del on the right, just imagine how many goals lukaku would score with that service. Frightening.

I'm not sure Begovic is the keeper he was a few years ago. He conceded a hatty to Naismith of all people ffs.

Seriously though he's an upgrade on Howard. But that shouldn't be our only criteria for buying a new keeper.

Not interested in Montero at all, he's pace and that's it. 1 goal in 48 for Swansea, should be aiming much higher.
Nailed on once you posted that Montero would score today.......but then it is Oxford
