What are McGeady's stats like and if you knew nothing about him, would you sign him based on them?

I was just going off what his take home was at Moscow and assuming it was going to have a parity with his deal here mate, very good news if thats the case what you said though, although makes me wonder why Celtic can't afford his wages if it is as low as 20k...

They could afford that.

I know someone who has signed for Rangers and they have agreed to pay them 12k next year if they go up, 6 if they don't.

These aren't big names so you'd imagine Celtic could easily afford 20.

Well, if you look at the players we have 'mid-long term'

LW -- ?? /??
DM -- McCarthy
CM -- Besic/Cleverley
AM -- Barkley / Tarashaj
RW -- Deulofeu
CF -- Lukaku

i would think Torres could play on the left/right and also as a deep lying playmaker. Both he and also Cleverley would fill the need for any further signings centrally and also act as cover for LW/LM. So with the addition of Yarmolenko our midfield long term would be pretty much complete.

Also, and perhaps @bluestevon may be able to confirm this, perhaps Yarmolenko could also play up front if needed?

If so then we'd see a huge upgrade in quality not only in terms of positions but also in depth. Would be amazing.

Honestly never seen him play up front mate, although very much the way Kone does lately for us a lot of the time he drifts in and effectively joins whoever is playing up front to make a two - nearly entirely when the attack is coming down the other wing, thats one of the primary reasons i cvan see Martinez really gunning to get him, he suits the system Martinez obviously wants to play.

Only thing I can find about his salary in Russia was guessed by the likes of the Mirror.

Which was £40k a week, They doubled his money.

40k in Russia with our tax laws here would give him an equivalent salary to being on around 55-60k back in the UK mate

Indeed, BUT non of the reports say if he pay is NET or GROSS, so we don't really know.

UK media usually report it as Gross pay.

He has a close mate who's an agent, and as and when that agent is involved in something Everton related he gets some good info.

haha on fifa, perhaps. cheap enough, 76 stats and a solid if unspectacular player.

Admittedly i am bias and always sell him but a cheap squad filler on the game.
