Absolutely.

Honestly, I don't know what some people expect. He guarantees 25 goals a season in supposedly the worlds toughest league. Only really Aguero can boast the same. Neither Vardy or Kane will do it consistently.

Maybe Evertonians would prefer the good old days of AJ or Beattie who worked hard and scored 8 goals a season. You can't have it both ways. A strikers job is to score goals, Lukaku scores a lot of them.

How does a player who has never scored more than 18 league goals guarantee 25 in the toughest league?

He hit about 10 or 11 the season before last.

dream scenario for me, within reason of course. Unless pep is really desperate for hart to go at any cost and we're getting him for the equivalent of £15m. But it won't be him if it's massively absurd (in more ways than one) fee because of the selling fee we need to comply with FFP.

maybe it's all a rouse, maybe it's just a jarg youth team loan - i highly highly doubt it'd be ihenacho. A loan at best if it were him.

He's been no where near the player he use to be for a long time now.

Whenever I have taken in a man city game he has often looked there worst player.

I'd like us to sign a Russian Brazilian, with an absolute man mountain from the depths of Siberia, yet with the silky footwork of Ronaldinho due to his mother's Copacabanan heritage.

True. Always amazed me that City never replaced him with a top drawer keeper.

He's always looked like he has a mistake in him. That's not me being knee jerk over his Euro performances, he's always been like that in my opinion.

Seaman, Southall, Smeichel, Neuer etc. They're top draw keepers. Hart isn't anyway near the same bracket of player imo.

up until about 3 years ago he'd never put a foot wrong tbh. I still never rated him in that top bracket though, i suppose sweeper keepers like a lloris stand out more. De gea's always had much more work to do since hart has been at city as well which makes him stand out more.

But yeah, i've never rated him that highly, possibly a tad better than begovic though, who i really rate.
