Anyone else find it hilarious that the Echo are reporting that Koeman says everything will be fine, via De Telegraaf.

The Echo ain't even getting the scraps any more. lol lol

I wonder if that´s what he really said. Tried to go on to the Telegraaf´s site and find the article but couldn´t (and not only because I can´t read dutch).

He lacks hunger and desire Damo.

We need hungry players, not players who have been there done that and are winding down.

Very talented tho.

Precisely.

However, my view is. Overrated and mentality isn't there.

I'm patient to see the right sort of big money signing come in.

Not spending money for the sake of it.

As some on here suggest we should.

GOT transfer thread logic is to spend money on people. For the sake of it.

Imagine some of these posters running a business you invested money in. FFS.
:coffee:

Calm down I say.

On the flip side - just to play devil's advocate - Nasri is definitely one of those players who thrives when the whole side is built around him.

He had that with Arsenal for a while, and France heading into Euro 2012 and then with City when he was in the team when Silva was out injured for a long while.

Is a bit of a *** though

I bet Walsh is probably spending his days on the ale in Leicester at our expense, while we go into the first game of the season with Stekelenburg in goal.

EVERYONE OUT

We can get better players than him.

Ones with their entire careers to go. With the ability to slot in with Mirallas and Geri.

No need to panic at all.

I'm off to get a :coffee:

Not that im aware of.

People are adding 2 + 2 and making the answer up.

Its said from a possible decent source that we are requesting a player from City in exchange for Young John.

People are guessing, Bony and Nasri would be the popular choices.

Decent sources? Well must be true then :p.

Bony would be decent but we´d be better of just to him bid for him outright since City milk it to the max if we try to involve trade for one of their players in the Stones transfer.

If I was Moshiri I´d tell City to pay 65 mil and if they don´t, I´d lower it to 60 and say take it or leave it. Stones is so overrated it´s unreal. This summers Raheem Sterling. He´ll rot on City´s bench and move to Spurs in three years time severely under developed.

And if we said we would lob them a wedge if/when he is sold on, then we should do. Not muck them about.

Exactly. Not meeting your obligations - can come back and bite us in future.

I'd rather simply do what we are - contractually obliged - to do so.

That means clubs like Barnsley deal - in future with us favourably.

We're men of our word.
