Theres a reason that @GrandOldTeam asks people to support the forum and has placed clear adverts to third parties - e.g. at the top of the screen and banners - plus affiliate URLs with Amazon are used on here.

It keeps the site - independent.

This is site is as independent as it gets.


The club's ex employees would have loved to try and turn GOT into their own police state.

However, thats never been the case in the more than 6 or 7 years I've been on the site.

People just need to chill out a bit.

Spurs haven't for starters mate, certainly not anyone who will start int here best 11
Arguably neither have City, a player injured until january at the least and a winger to go into the mix with the rest of them - but not neccesarily a starter
Arsenal have signed 1 defensive midfielder before the window even opened and since then nothing

Don't get me wrong, if Everton offered me a free season ticket, I'd sell you all down the river.

I'd probably even tell you all that McGeady is underrated for a few Goodison hot dog vouchers.

I signed up AGES ago.

There seems to be a collective loss of logic and rationality though. People are condemning people for pointing out that there is no sign of us doing things such as signing the aforementioned 'big name' players, when there is literally no evidence of it happening.

It's making us a laughing stock on certain rival team's forums. And as a Blue, that genuinely hurts.

You'd have to clearly acknowledge that to the forum if you did mate.

I think the USA has some quite strict rules on these types of things and remember you have a large number of 'consumers' based in the USA...

just saying.

Maybe some of us will just wait to see what happens and then fume Sept 1st if we haven't signed anybody. Until then it's all up in the air, People give out info how you digest and interpret that info is on you.

If you follow football you will know things change at the drop of a hat. It's not like people are purposely out to dupe you(well not the particular poster you are having a dig at)

Don't go on other teams forums if you are easily offended, have you seen what happens to wums from other clubs on her ffs.
