Had the pleasure of watching him live a couple of times this season at Turf Moor. He would most definitely add something to our forward line and could be a good investment for the future. He also possesses the physicality to play in the PL, he looks the player I thought James Vaughan might go on to be.

I bet you wouldn't pay £12m for him and then loan him back though.

I am not saying he should start each game
If you look we may of got lucky with the return of Jagielka as Mori maybe out tomorrow, it could of meant having no replacement in place. In getting experience like Vidic it would mean we have the adequate cover, and also not put pressure on the likes of Holgate who may have to step up,or even moving Galloway inside.
Also he could give great advice and mentoring to our young and in experienced defenders on the training ground, he could be the defensive coach everybody is asking for.

Your suggesting signing an injury prone 34 year old, who when he wasnt injured, utterly stank out the league in his final season for United, who then went to Italy and struggled for fitness and hasnt played a single game this season.
