Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Told West Ham he wanted £200k a week and he would be happy to come back.

Nothing about being close to his family, he'll go wherever the biggest payday is. Ill be shocked if he finishes his career at Boca
To be fair getting such a big pay check at the end of his career, can you blame him?

i mean he will be on nothing in comparison in argentina. Perhaps the chance of one massive pay day from somewhere daft enough to pay him that would be worth giving up a year or two?

Like anyone, from what you get paid now, would you move to a different country if the amount of money you would get paid would make you a fortune? Knowing it would only be for a couple years at best before you came back?

Don't worry lads, there are still around 35 hours to go for the remainder of the 4 signings our ITKs promised.

Busy transfer week indeed.

Aye true but it's from that Paul Brown who writes for a few places, he's a Blue and seems to be sauced.

Broke the Witsel bid too.

The quote actually seems to be about Draxler.
Get the Draxler thread going mate..

It will give RAWK a laugh.

Could be about anyone. Up until recently we had to spend 0 for 3 years just because we got Fellaini, and only because of TV money were we able to afford Lukaku.

The quote is about whatever you want it to be, basically, as it's really vague.

No Blame, but the "moving to be close to his family" and "finish career at Boca" statements he made and other have are null and void really. As they are for most footballers, they go with the money.

Aguero said he was going back to Inder once his City contract run out and he was 31.

Pretty sure he's about to sign a contract with City.

It's a load of dung.

Does anybody else find it a bit odd that when anybody points out that we've all been obviously duped by people spouting nonsense about our transfer plans on here, and that the changes at the club are nowhere near the magnitude that has been fantasised about, all people seem able to respond with are pictures of crying babies and totally weird 'bedwetter' remarks?

It's almost as if they have nothing of substance to respond with.

No.

Or almost as if they're tired of saying the same thing over and over and being told "BUT IT'Z A KONSPIRACEE", "WE 'AVE NO MONEE LADZ", "PANIC STATIONS WE HAVEN'T SIGNED 13 PLAYERS YET" WE HAVE ONLY 3 DAYS TO DO IT

My thought on the window so far.

If everything happens the way it's meant to we get a great set of players and possibly do really well this season.

The other hand is none of these players will arrive and the team will not be improved by much and we will end up not really signing many players and going with what we have more or less.

As each day passes, option 2 is slowly getting more real. Until all these top players are bought, can't argue that the window so far is looking like a massive let down all round

If you've taken what's been said by people on here as unequivocal truth then you deserve all the baby photos the internet can muster.

Things change though?

Surely re: Tevez - asked his family if they want to move to Italy for a year, they say yes, they move to Italy for a year/two/whatever before he goes back home for good.

And re: Aguero - things change. They just got arguably the best manager in the world right now (or at least one of the best), he'd be insane to leave.
