Think we would struggle to convince Hart to join us.

He's apparently on 120k pw at City - so wages shouldn't be a problem mate, doubt he will want to leave the country either as it's the fastest way to lose the England starting spot, and with Butland starting for Stoke he can't afford to be sitting on the City bench either. Lived in the north west ages and is settled etc.

Can se it happening if City have basically told him he's being replaced.

Thing is, if City get the Barca keeper, then Hart has to move. And unless he goes abroad, (unlikely imo), who else actually needs a keeper of his class? Or could afford him?

Us and possibly Liverpool?

So Bony could be part of a Stones deal, and Hart as a separate deal?

Liverpool bought a keeper mate from Germany already as their eventual number 1 i think

Have to say I'm similarly pessimistic lids, but I've heard 7 signings quoted so many times (including Gueye I imagine) that there has to be some quality in the other 6. I'd be delighted with Williams, Bony and Mata personally.

Love the player over the years, but injury prone - and not a great captain - and hard to remove it from him whilst he's still here, and possibly a poster boy for the too nice and respectful Everton.

34 as well so wouldn't be distraught if he did leave and would do so with a lot of love from the fans still
