The lame stories about Madrid rushing to buy Stones et al post their supposed summer window ban are utter nonsense, written by hacks who patently don't even understand the process of what will happen post the Madrid judgement.

Madrid will appeal the ban, which will probably be rejected. They will then take the case to the court of arbitration for sport (as Barca did) at which it will either be upheld or not. This entire process will take 7-8 months, and therefore irrespective of the outcome, the ban won't be imposed until the Jan 2017 window.
Talk sport had the ex pres of real Madrid on this morning and he said the same, they will be able to buy in the summer, they wont bid this window

Rebrov the Kiev manager interestedly came out today and for the first time didn't start banging on about how he needs Yarmolenko and won't sell him unless the owner demands etc as in all previous interviews but stated that every player has their price and that they have a list of targets should he be sold during the window

Stevon your dogged sleuthing is indispensable for stirring up my hype.

Another little interesting part was him saying this about the entire thing

I remember my own situation: Whilst at Kiev Tottenham reps offered a decent compensation to the club, and we sat with Grigory Mikhailovich Surkis and Lobanovsky, discussing, if i should leave or stay. At that time I was ready to try my hand at a new challenge/level, as i have just said. for Yarmolenko or any other of our players, it all depends on the price and desires of another club. We must be honest with the players and be ready for the fact that at some point someone will have to leave

will try to translate as best i can the other parts relating to it a bit later after sorting my sons ice sled ride out lol

Just do what Barca did and buy players who wont be able to play for months. Hardly affected them has it. I really don't see an institution such as Real being overly concerned.

Inaki williams who we were linked with for a couple of months this season is now linked to arsenal and liverpool.

We really need a top left winger for balance and to improve the team but also so we can just focus on worrying about the goalkeeper.

Madrid's transfer ban is from the end of this window IF it goes through but it's unlikely to be an immediate thing like with Barcelona.
