Everton Transfer Thread 2016

What ever happened to just being glad that someone @The Esk is passing on information! Why are so many behaving like utter idiots and calling out fellow fans who just want to share information?

100% agree with you regrding the esk and other in the knows. However to have been going after so many top players and currently ended up with none it doesnt look good for the people currenlty dealing with our transfers.

I get that witsel wants to stay and see if juve are in for him or not but players like carvalho playing in a poor league and on relatively low wages. We should be able to convince him that its a good move. Im pretty sure stoke picked up a top prospect from sporting in jan for around 18mil. If stoke can convince them how cant we.

If it turns out that we have been waiting for the stones cash to come in then why have we let it drag on for so long. We could jave told city a month ago that they have a week to agree a deal or he stays. The asking price is 50mil raising by 1mil each day its not agreed until the end of the week and if not agreed then he stays at us.

We dont seem to have any decision makers that have the bottle to thrash a deal out with out going back and forth asking for permission on what they can and cant offer.

I just don't get it. Unless @The Esk is Moshiri's GOT name he cannot know everything that is happening and things change so fast in football.

Appreciate what others share and reply to them in the same manner as you would like to be replied - it should not be that hard.

I wasn't proposing we buy any of them, I was just pointing out that selling England's most promising young defender and replacing him with a 32 year old journeyman (albeit one who has had a couple of good seasons) from Swansea for £15M quid is not progress for me. We should have looked for a younger centre back from abroad and we should have been planning for this from the end of last season. This all seems a bit like we just had a sift around and grabbed who we could get.

You serious? The centre backs we have at our disposal (when including stones) was way too young, we needed experience. Got plenty of good young centre backs already.

We finished 11th last season.

We were never going to attract anyone with world-wide appeal, were we?

I want us to build something that lasts, not splash out on players that are only concerned about agent fees and their own bank accounts.
