If "Yannick Bolasie" was replaced with "Juan Mata" it would be a whole different ball game.

Bolasie does nothing for me and for 25 mill us holding out for 47mill for Stones seems absolutely pointless.

76m if you put in Naisse as well..... will be the worst transfer business done in English football history... those players sounds like the lineup for Watford or Swansea and not a team telling everyone they got ambition...

Wijnaldum went for £25m, i honestly rate Bolasie higher than Wijnaldum - could argue they are different players, but that seems to be what £25m gets you.

For his poor end product, Bolasie does bring a lot to the table, pace, skills, strength, hold up play. He could genuinely be that player who drifts in from wide to help Lukaku and i think the pair of them could work - Provided we do actually sign Bolasie.

Kone & Williams replacing Stones is an interesting one - both out and out defenders who aren't bothered about passing it about, defenders who defend. Its clear we wanted someone like Koulibaly but i guess you cant convince players of that ilk to join when you have finished 11th twice on the bounce, its about building. We're buying players who can add to the team and improve our league position, improving our League position makes it easier to sign the likes of Koulibaly. We tried for the best, but couldnt convince, its about building a team that can improve us NOW and improve our reputation so that next summer those players become attainable.
