I think those who profess to know a lot more about footy finance type things than me have previously explained that it is the full value of the deal if it involves a player plus cash type gig - so even if he does come I don't think there is a way around it to deny Barnsley their slice.

I think first few games could go badly for us. If anything we have a weaker squad than last season, haven't added any real quality and don't look like we are going to, also going to be harder to attract real quality when people see us selling our future and showing basically no ambition.

Cant see 1 world classs player being bought at the moment. Looks like alot of good premier league players. So we should have a good team but nothing more. Id rather spend the money on some young foreign talent tjat can be developed in to.world class players than spend money on players barely better than what we have.

I wouldn't like to guess one way or another if Bony is coming here mate - but if there is no direct linkage between a deal for him coming here and the deal for Stones going there then it could just drag on to the last day of the window for all we know - just like all the others we are meant to be getting in.

It does make me wonder with the supposed sightings of Bony in Liverpool last week whether he was at our place having a look and having some initial discussion to see if there was any legs in combining the 2 deals but something was not quite right for the Bony piece - so we stuck tot he straight money can buy you stones option??????????

I think if Bony was going to come it would have been announced at the same times as the sale of Stones.
