We're seriously lightweight in the left winger area. Bolasie is a solid player and will only strengthen us. He has a quality that isn't in the stats, he instills fear into the right back. Unlike when Mcgeady is on the pitch.

We basically have 3 wingers, mirallas, del and Lennon.
Mirallas and del have hamstrings made of cheese and will miss chunks of the season.
We needed another winger and would rather have bolasie there than cleverley or someone else shoehorned in.

So I'm happy ish.

It's not just an age thing - he's erratic and always has a mistake in him (in before the 'so has Stones' shouts). As I said before, if you're going to sell, replace with top quality - everybody has different opinions but Kone and Williams - for me - are not

In your opinion then whats top quality?

Of those that would actually play for us that is?

The fact of the matter is maybe its all we can attract.

Lukaku talks of always wanting to leave and Stones has left.

It will be the same for other young players.

We have to set our expectations accordingly as annoying as that is we are not the same club we once were.

Top market players probably don't want to play for us.

So it looks like Walsh and Koeman are looking at players who know the prem and who are consistent and could help.

Obviously the cost of these players is silly but like everyone has mentioned that the going rate nowadays as ridiculous as that is.

Bolasie - £25m
Williams - £12m
Kone - £18m

Stones just left for £47.5m but dont forget that Barnsley pocketed £7m of that. That is £55m we have spent, recieving £40.5m from Stones, which puts our spending to £14.5m, add the price for Gueye which is rumored to be around £7.1m, so that totals us at £21.6m.

Do we really have another £78m to spend? Time will tell...
