Then I strongly question our decision making abilities. I repeat, we have one fit centre back for tomorrow. We have no new players of any real quality. Why did we want to sell him now? I think it is more likely Citeh made it plain they would not pay what we wanted and have him play competitive matches, ergo we sold him when they wanted.

Is Jags not fit tomorrow and Mori?

What we need to show is a club moving in the right direction ...showing ambition. That is all we need to sell it to others.
Is this what we are doing? How?
Gueye from a relegated team, Stekelenberg from a championship team, Williams 32 and from Swansea.
Hardly pulling up trees. And don't get me started on Bolasie.

This season was never going to be. Only the Pie in the sky was thinking that...this season was only ever going to be a builder. We may never see the league cup again for 10-20 years. Having money in this climate is moot...every club has it now. What we need to show is a club moving in the right direction ...showing ambition. That is all we need to sell it to others. Selling the silver ????, Hell every club has done it but after the fallout we need players in that believe in the "project". It seems this season they don't. Who can blame them ?? New manager, poor position last season....this project has to prove itself first. Dunno how you do this mind, Other than win more games than you loose. Koeman has to fulfill that !!! That's what his appointment demands.

Heres hoping for a swift win...asap. and a top half finish. Hence why we are going for proven prem players and not the maybee's from abroad.
I do realis

I agree, it aint perfect....it may look mental if truth be told...but after watching Leicester and to an extent Southampton last season who'd a thunk wes morgan or shane long would be top 6....or league winners. Im going to trust Walsh and Koeman to get the balance right......as a building excersize

Does it matter?
Not necessarily, but we need something, anything, from this new administration to demonstrate we are moving forwards as a club. At the moment I'm not seeing it. We were dreaming of Witsel, Carvalho, Mata and Koulibaly playing at a shiny new dockside stadium but we are just as likely, as it stands, to be watching Williams, Bolasie, that dude at Valencia that no one has ever heard of and Gueye playing at an identikit stadium on an industrial estate in SC. Just feel so deflated after feeling so buoyant.

Every man and his dog is hoping to do a Leicester, we can't all do it (I would be shocked if one of the more regular winners doesn't nail it this year). Especially, when we thought we were going to flex financial muscle for a change. Looks unlikely now.
