We've DONE NOTHING.

Who said anything about our players being world class? Or even putting them on pedestals?
All I said was that we should trust in the people who are actually employed to make transfer decisions as they are normally the best judges.

the only way we'd buy both is if we're going to go with 5 at the back. It'll be one or the other imo, one of those is first choice and one will be backup i believe. People fret when it seems we don't have a backup option but then also fret that we're buying too many players when we do have backups.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. People did this with Martinez and to be honest some of the players went backwards. Lets get the players moving forwards and 100% fit before saying anything.
