...and this, sadly, should shut a few of our moaning elite up because - if true, and I believe it is - then again it'll be a case of a player simply not wanting to sign for us despite our offer being concrete and acceptable.

What Koeman is actually saying is that we have no interest in Hart at the current price that City want. We obviously have interest in him as a player since we started negotiating with City in the first place. Logically this means that we could re-evaluate our interest if City are willing to lower their asking price.

I am concerned about the lack of money spent as well. forget stones money, forget war chests, forget Moshiri is a billionaire even.
The tv money that everyone else is spending including the likes of bournemouth and we have not even come close to that.
I know this will get jumped on for being flapping or whatever else but i genuinely don't see us bring many players in now. No idea why, just a gut feeling that we will see very little activity, just the right back and another modest signing. So no big fees, no big players, not loads of them, just a couple of cheaper squad players to make the numbers up and then that will be it.
