What Koeman is actually saying is that we have no interest in Hart at the current price that City want. We obviously have interest in him as a player since we started negotiating with City in the first place. Logically this means that we could re-evaluate our interest if City are willing to lower their asking price.

As Koeman says we'll know one way or another in a few days.

I'm as frustrated as anyone but I still think we are a stronger squad and coaching staff than this time last year. We'd all like to be stronger than we are but it seems we are going to have to be patient and possibly accept slow, incremental improvement unless and until we climb back into the top 6.

This. The team is much improved compared to last years. I believe Koeman has a lot to do with that and the new signings of course. We lose both our games had this been last year. Imo.
