His adaptability is only 12. He's gonna be rubbish at his job till January at least.

Guess we've got no chance this window. lol

As has been mentioned before, this window is proving difficult. Here are some comments from Wenger in tomorrows paper which are interesting. Hopefully the 2nd comment is related to us.

“No, it is the case that everybody is waiting to get the deals done. When a [foreign] club wants to sell to an English club today they ask for a huge amount of money. So it takes a long time to settle [on a price]. In the next two or three days everybody will find agreements.”

"I’m convinced there are many, many clubs in England who have a big amount of money available who have not spent yet. Many. You can say all of them. Who has finished the market? Nobody. You will see how many transfers will happen in the next three or four days. You’ll be amazed.”

This season I thought we would have the easiest transfer market ever,” Wenger added. “We knew what we wanted to do, we knew who we wanted to get but it didn’t come off. So you have to restart and, when you restart, some leagues are on holiday and then we had the European Championship. Nothing happened during the entire Euros. We couldn’t find anybody. That’s why it was very late.”

Ties into what ive said, nobody has spent a penny yet, wild, wild west Tuesday and Wednesday, its gonna be mental.

Our fans are getting frustrated at the lack of 'names' being targeted but the 3rd quote This season I thought we would have the easiest transfer market ever,” Wenger added. “We knew what we wanted to do, we knew who we wanted to get but it didn’t come off. So you have to restart is what we and probably quite a few teams are having to do.

It also seems that it not cheaper to buy from abroad anymore. Juve, Dortmund and a couple of others have managed to get quality players at good fee's yet when a PL club comes along they double/treble it knowing we all have money. First we had the stupid 'English Premium', now we have a 'Premier League team' premium.

Can't see it myself, the usual Stoke, Sunderland etc spending 6/7m on players, reckon we'll get a couple between 5-12m. Sky will do the usual blag non stories but I think it will be quiet. I expect this Jan window to be a bit more busy than normal. Koeman, Mourinho, Moyes, Conte, Guardiola all at new clubs and will be aware of what they need by Jan.

Guess we see on Thursday.
